The key is to push in on the lens at 6 o'clock.

The blanket idea is a good one, but don't forget to loosen/ remove the set screw underneath first. I was able to do mine the first time, no problem.

Rewiring a headlight was created by red.auburn851
I have taken the headlights off to get the engine back in. Since it was apart, I rewired the car. When rewiring, is it correct to place the light bucket in a blanket, then in a strong box, then push in on the glass to get it loose? Just putting it back together and need to run the new wires. I have gotten good at the tail lights, now I need to get good at the headlights.
