The seller tells me that the eBay item # is 130551755008. The magazine is Horseless Carriage Gazette vol 20 #3 1958.

Is this your Auburn? was created by Josh Malks
I just received this email:

"Today, I was looking through a magazine called the Horseless Carriage Gazette dated May-June 1958. In this magazine I found a letter from a fellow asking questions about his Auburn. He states: "I have recently acquired an Auburn Coupe from the original owner who bought it in 1926. It is model No. 888C; Serial number 2643478, engine number 11398. He continues with the question about the idea of the body being covered in a leather-like fabric over a wire mesh and gets a response. There is also a photo. This sort of thing intrigues me and might be of interest to the current owner in terms of provenance.

If the owner has access to the collection of magazines, the article is
on page 35.

Since I am putting this magazine up for sale on Ebay at a cheap price,
I thought that if there was a club member who has that car, he/she
might want to read more about it."

I will post the eBay number if I get it.
