Steve,
Thanks for the positive ID on the latches...
Now for the hard part...Can anyone help source a pair of replacement latches?
Thanks,
Bob

Hello Bob:
Your latches are from a Potter trunk. My trunk still has it's original Potter decal on the inside and the latches have the old English "P" stamping just like yours.
Regards,
Steve Stevens

Trying to find replacement latches like the one in the photo(s).
The lower part of the latch, where you would lift to open, has been broken off.
Could not find any tag/label on the trunk to identify who the maker of the trunk is.
The only thing I've noted is the Old English Script "P" on the latch.
Guessing that the "P" may be for Potter?
Any leads for locating a pair of replacement latches would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Bob

The potter trunk hardware that The Filling Station is reproducing is not correct for L-29 Cord. Not even close. I don't know about Auburn.

The trunk on 34-36 Auburns were manufactured by Potter. Are they making any those parts?
