I agree with Steve completely, these cars all like to seek their own coolant level. I'm frugal, so while I'll buy premix if need be on the road, I always have an empty a/f jug (or several) around to make my own 50/50. It's probably best if you change it every couple of years.

There is an important article in Newsletter number 8 about the new anti-freeze formulations. It will be in your hands before the end of this month.
Until you read it, do not put Prestone brand anti-freeze in your Auburn (or Cord or Duesenberg.) No kiddin'.

Hello Steve:
You want to end up with a 50/50 mix in the system. Use 50/50 premix or straight antifreeze and distilled water. 50/50 will handle any cold temperatures that Ohio puts out. After you fill it up and drive it for a while, it will probably puke a little coolant out through the overflow tube onto your garage floor. That is normal. Once your car finds the coolant level that it likes, the puking will stop and your level will be correct.
Regards,
Steve Stevens

It gets pretty cold here in OH, just wondering how much straight AF (not 50/50) do most people run?
Thanks
