Hi,

I am based in the UK and am looking for a distributor cap and points for an 8-125 cabriolet. Are you able to help or point me in the right direction? Thanks

John,

I am surprised that no one has answered your question. Like the Cord L-29, the Big 8 engine has 27 studs. I believe they are 7/16 dia fine thread. The correct torque is 65 - 75 ft lbs wet. Make sure you torque from the center out in a symmetric pattern so as not to apply pressure unevenly to either one side from center.

The distributor per the 8-125 factory parts list is a 657-L and the High compression distributor is a 657-N.
