8-98 wiring harness question was created by Brad Hoskins
Looking to order a wiring harness and have a question on wiring for the external trumpet horns.
As far as I know, the external horns were an option for that year. The question is how Auburn wired them. Rhode Island Wiring has a patterns as follows:

1931 AUBURN Model 8-98
1. Dash and Engine Harness [wo/startix]
2a. Body and Taillights Harness
2b. Body and Taillight Harness [single taillight]
3. Headlight Harness
4. Headlight Bucket Wires [pair]
5. Dash Light Wires
6. Horn Button Ground Wire
7. Negative Battery Cable

1932 AUBURN Model 8-100
1a. Body and Taillights Harness
1b. Body and Taillight Harness
2. Dash Light Wires
3. Dash and Engine Harness [w/startix]
4. Headlight Harness
5. Headlight Bucket Wires [pair]

1932-33 AUBURN V12 "Boattail Speedster"
1. Dash Light Wires
2. Dash, Engine, and Headlight Harness [w/startix]
3. Dual Horn, Body, and Taillights Harness
4. Headlight Bucket Wires [pair]

The 31 pattern they have shows only a single wire to the engine mounted horn.
They show nothing for the 8's with dual horns for 31 or 32.
In Brad's simple world the dual horn wiring for the 12's should be representative of how Auburn would have wired the 8's. the only difference should be 6 inches to allow for the longer frame from the cowl forward. Marsha@RIW says not so fast!
Now I know I could just get the stock pattern they have for the 8 and cobble something together to make the horns work but, since I'm already placing an order, why not make it look purdy.
Can any of you out there with original 8-98 external horns help me on this?
The 31 parts manual isn't much help that I can see!
If the 12 option isn't the way to go , what does one order in the way of supplies to make it work and how does one route the wire?
