Fantastic! 200 miles on the first run! It will only get better from here! The joys of owning an Auburn. Enjoy many more trips with your family - that's what this hobby is all about!

Congratulations!! That's a great looking car, 200 miles 1st time out!, you've got a lot of guts and a great car. If it's original, it will only be that way once, good luck, enjoy, and thanks for sharing. Bob Esten and The Rum-Runner

Andreas:
Congratulations on getting your car on the road. If it made 200 miles on your first trip, then you have a good car. It looks great in the photos and I'll bet it turned a few heads in Berlin.
Kindest regards,
Steve Stevens

Our first ride.... was created by 61xlch
Hello friends,
I d like to show our first succesfull ride with our 8-98.
I purchased this unrestored car 2 years ago and did not find the time to restore it until now. I could no longer see this car standing around... Thatswhy I renewed now only the electrical wiring, all fluids, made a complete lubrication job and and started it... <!-- s:o --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_surprised.gif" alt="" title="Surprised" /><!-- s:o --> . No problem!
Yesterday, a sunny Sunday, I took my family in the car, lots of wrenches, oil, water and stuff in the trunk, and started a cool ride around Berlin.
Here we start:
a short break:
back in town:
And: surprise surprise, abolutely no problem! We completed a 200+ miles tour without looking to any tool. Ok, it rattles here and there, the first gear is pretty noisy, the exhaust not tight, the brakes not very efficiency, but: Fun fun fun...
This is true quality. The engine seems to be not opened dekades ago and the car did not run very much many years long.
Now I will try to fix some minor technical problems and give the car a ride from time to time, until I will find the time for a complete body job.
I will have some questions here and there and I hope for some help from you further on...
Regards,
Andreas
