The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

I want to assemble the crowl vent on my 36 852 Cabriolet. I have the vent itself, along with the tray. What else am I missing besides the lever and the spring? Can anyone tell me EXACTLY where the tray screws in to the body of the car...where do the holes on the rear end of the tray attach under the dash? Where does the rod attach on the firewall? Does anyone have a lever they would sell?
Secondly, I am leaking oil out of the top of the transmission...the does not appear to be any gaskets on the top plate and that's where its leaking. If I unscrew and remove the plate will anything fall off. Are there any "tricks" to its removal and putting it back together after I have pt in the gasket? On the 852 do I use one or two gaskets? Thanks, Mike
