7:00 tires are mentioned in the 1934 parts book for eight cylinder cars, so it is safe to say they were an option in 35 & 36 as well.

The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

You should not have a problem with clearance unless your cars springs are very weak and the car sits to low. These springs are 75 years old and as we all know things settle with age.

Hi James, I am using 7.00X16 Diamond Back radials. I am running them tubless and have 3000 miles with no problems. I am using them on a speedster. I have no clearance problems but I don't know about clearance on a Conv. Sedan. 7.00X16 were optional on the Speedster but I don't think the were on other body styles. I have a friend running 6.50X16 on a Cab. and they are close.
CORDially Mike

I have a '35 851 S/C convertible sedan, and it is time to replace the tires. For those of you who are running radials, are there any fender-clearance issues with the 650-16 and 700-16 sized radials?

What brands are you using? Has anyone had any problems with the rims?

Thanks.
