The six cyl. hood is 37 1/4
The eight cyl. hood is 45 1/2

The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

Not sure.... it's up in my pals barn rafters. He's at the Carlisle Swap meet and will have to wait till Sunday to get the measurements. From visual ID I'm leaning torwards a six/[/i]

What is the length of the hood in the center where it hinges?

Hi Auburn Fans...

A friend has a very nice barn kept hood he'd like to find a new home for. I'm told he removed it from a 34 Auburn 8 many years ago and kept the hood in his barn loft.

Can anyone eyeball the photo and confirm this is a 6 or a 8cyl hood ?
