The engine number would probably start with GG. The letter G looks like 6.
If the number were preceeded by GH, that would designate a supercharged engine.

Thanks Carl.
I also found out this morning:
Body Tag Model 852, serial No. 5425F, Engine No. 665126 or 005126. First two digits illegible.
Is there a source to research tag & engine numbers?

Thanks,
John

It is my opinion the pipes and the supercharged 'look' were added long after the car left the factory. Thre are telltale items under the hood as well as an incorrect serial number for a supercharged car.

The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

Anyone know :
Can this be an original car with the story about the supercharger never being installed at the factory ? Is Vin 5425F correct for 36 ?
Any quick response appreciated.
Thanks.
