It is also stamped into the crankshaft and on top of the block.

Does it have a straight eight engine, or a modern engine? (Could be a reproduction)

Should be near the front on the intake side of the block.

Hello Members! Yesterday I checked on a 1935 851 Auburn Speedster, which is for sale. I could not find the embossed engine number. Can anybody of you guys tell me where exactly to find it on the engine. Thanks. usa0815
