Yes, I bought Bill Butler's Auburn about 5 years ago on the advice of Dave Pepple. I never knew Bill Butler. The car was purchased from his widow who was living near Williamsport, Pennsylvania at the time and I and a friend brought it back by trailer . The car had a maroon and black exterior and green mohair interior. All original but in need of restoration. Since returning the car back to Indiana it has been repainted silver and blue and the interior was redone by Jack Davis in Garrett. New engine (with help from Jay Engler) was installed by Jan Appenzeller a couple of years ago and the car now looks good and runs very well too. MA

A friend asked if anyone knew the present owner of the 1931 Auburn Sedan s/n G3198843 previously owned by John L. Bruch Jr of Muncy, PA.
I believe the car was sold by Mr. Bruch to William C. Butler of Morris, PA. in April, 2000. Please forward any available info to Allen E. Light. Email address and other contact info in ACD Membership Directory. Thanks
