1929 Auburn radiator recoring was created by Sheldon
Hi Everybody
the core is bad in our 1929 Auburn radiator
there is hardly any rad shops left in our area and I don't have a lot of confidence in the one place that is left as last time they did a recore it leaked 3 different times - anyways they said the core is worth $1000 and it would be that much or more to fit it in around the radiused top & hole for the crank
can anybody tell me exactly what type of core would have been in the car originally and suggest reputable shops to do the recore - also some type of ballpark as to what this should cost would be helpful
I'm in the Toronto Canada area but could ship rad if required
thanks
