The rubber tube comes through the fire wall about two inches.

The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

Curt: I think it would make sense that the rubber tube passes through the firewall and not the metal tube. Do you think that the metal tube comes just short of the firewall? One of my cars has the metal tube passing through the firewall with a rubber grommet, but that seems wrong.

The parts book on page 59 indicates that part # 2S4046 is 18 inches long

Question regarding length of vacuum tube was created by ilikescars
Hi: Does anyone have an idea as to the length of the (wiper) metal vacuum tube that goes from the manifold to the firewall on a supercharged cabriolet?
Also, is it cad plated?

Thanks, Mark
