Hi Chris:
I have rebuilt a number of the Columbia two speeds. There are few parts that were sold to Ford that interchange with 1934 - 1936 Auburn. The Fords were a much lighter unit. Actually there are not many parts that interchange with the 1931 - 1933 Auburns.
I believe that your problem can be as simple as replacing the piston plunger seals in the vacuum can. Please give a call at 1-715-262-3183
I can help you with the project.

The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

The car I am working with has a non-operative Columbia two-speed rear axel. A gauage shows that there is vacum being pulled but it does not change gears. I would surmise that the gasket in the servo is not working. Where is a good source for this gasket; will gaskets for Ford units work?
