I ususally find that 50-55 mph is a comfortable speed for my Auburn on most days. MA

There are several single speed gear ratios. I had the best possible ratio and drove mine at 55 after talking to Mason Maynard re piston speed. Pete

To those of you that own a 1931 8-98 that have not installed a dual-ratio rear end, at what speed do you normally cruise in your car? I drive mine a good bit and never drive over 45 to 50 mph. I seem to remember someone telling me that that's a proper speed.
