That brings to mind the tour I was on and a freshly restored Auburn Speedster was on the tour and low and behold he had a flat with locked sidemount spares and no key. Let that be a lesson to all of us. Air in the spares and a key to remove them. You never no when its your turn to have a flat. I have had two in my L-29.

First with a key then remove the lock then you use a 9/16 socket which removes the bolt then gently remove the lock body

Pardon my ignorance, but I've never had my spares out on my '31 898. How do I unlock them? Thanks
