Thanks All
Have not been able to open Pete's PM but will do and meantime will try Steele Rubber. Which way up would the swing seal go as my glass finishes some 3-4mm above the U shaped lower channel . I expected a cross section say 8-10 wide to slip into the channel and then a step cross section above that into which the glass would swing.
cheers
Rick

The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

Metro's quality control is sometimes lacking . Contact Steele rubber.

Hi,
Metro Moulded Parts does list some pieces for our cars, but not the swing out seal. As I recall I used this seal for my 1932 Auburn windshield.

Bottom Windscreen seal 8/98 was created by rickvb
I have been able to source the seal beneath the windscreen lower rail against the scuttle but am looking for the seal which fits in the lower screen frame or a picture of its cross section to make one up.
Any help out there would be much appreciated
