I need a replacement water pump seal packing for my 1933 8-105. I don't know if this is the same for '34-'36 Auburns. Any comments would be appreciated.

McMaster-Carr 9281K63. That is a Pac Seal No. 201V. The bearings are WC87503, that is not McMaster part No. but bearing no. The pump seal surface will have to be machined .170 down from flat surface for the seal to ride on. I can send you a diagram if you want.

'34-'36 Water Pump Seal was created by JIM.OBRIEN

Does anyone have a part number for a modern seal for the water pump? I need one for a 6 cylinder, but the parts book says they are the same as the 8 cylinder pumps.
