Hello Mike,

when you follow the (Old Motor) link that DavidK posted, you will find a "Vimeo" Video and when you stopp it @1.29 min. running time, you will have a good view to the valve train.

It looks like that there are three! tappets for each cylinder on the camshaft, so one pair of valves (intake or outlet?) will be pushed by a spread rocker lever.

I have a 600 cubic inch 1925 Sterling Dolphin engine with 4 valves per cylinder and only 2 push rods per cylinder
