I, too, am eager to learn more about this "Retrotek Smart Shifter". Please enlighten us all.

Well, it doesn't look like I will be driving my Cord for awhile. The steering is shot. I can turn my steering wheel back and forth 90 degrees before the car reacts and that is a little hairy for me! So it looks like the next major part of my rolling restoration is about ready to begin.

I will be removing the Grant Banjo steering wheel and automatic transmission gear selector that has been such an eyesore to us all. An orginal Cord column and steering wheel will be installed along with the Retrotek Smart Shifter.

It's still smoke and mirrors at this stage but the Cord will LOOK much more correct and still be very driveable.

I will take photos of the transformation if anyone is interested.
