Glad you got the caps Bill. I did NOT need them but was very close to pulling the trigger on them.My catalog from Stan has them non plated listed for $66.00 each not plated. Nothing like a nice set of chrome caps.

There are at least 2 different shapes of those.
Send me a pic and I'll see if I have a matching 1 in the pile.

Terry Cockerell wrote: Thanks Gary. There are lots of ways to do a job. I think having a Cord is a privilege consequently it needs to be looked after properly, the restoration as such should be done correctly or to the best of one's abilities.
The jack base and shaft are just for show.
I recall you showing me the way you made the base. Its impressive to say the least. Anyone actually trying to use the original bumper jack learns very quickly it bumper bar bends upwards damaging the body and fender... So I'm told by others. so originals got thrown out and scissors jacks were used under the frames or axles.

Attached is a picture showing the jack base and shaft installation. The tyre clamp was still drying when the picture was taken..

Also was there a preferred mounting position for the light switch in any literature that you have?

I agree with you; they look different BUT the front of the car is a photo and the fog lights are drawings. I am assuming that the fog lights were not in hand at the time of printing the accessory booklet and the fog lights shown in the drawing were not chosen but Fog Kings were substituted in their place. That is my explanation.

Cliff what are you talking about? I see in the last picture clearly the special 6 sided hexagon bolts for the fastener ring and the brackets. Am not sure what you are referring to...
