FYI- Article of same subject, aka - fire, electric fuel pumps and "new" gas is featured in CCCA Bulletin for November of '09. Submitted by Past President Rick Zeiger. Check it out before it's time to drive your baby next spring - although we drove our baby today! 60 degree days in Michigan in November deserve a convertible ride, even if it wasn't our ACD baby!

I also believe that this is the car that drove 3,800 miles to the ACD West Coast Meet in Santa Maria, CA nine weeks after the incident....

what's YOUR excuse for not bringing your auto to Auburn next year?

If the engine isn't running the electric pump isn't running if installed properly.

How sad but what a wonderful job and repaired so quickly. I wonder if he has an electric fuel pump? It could keep feeding a fire even if the engine isn't running. I have one along with the engine pump. I''ll keep that thought in mind as I don't use mine all the time. Just when the weather is real hot.
