Old pictures - Duesenbergs and Auburn 12 Speedster

I think it is a V12 Salon. The supercharged tag had to have been added. Was there perhaps a supercharger added to the V12 to match the tag??? That would be neat.

Maybe the owner customized it...

that pic looks like a 1933 salon speedster to me with the grill and the bumper (but the experts should weigh in here). but then why does it say supercharger on the hood cover. what gives??? can anyone give us some more insight on this one???

A friend and I were at an antique shop in Indiana area and came across a box of old pictures. There's a pic of a car in it and we both didn't know what it was. I puchased the box of pics for $8.00. Fun to look at. Even better to take to family reunions and ask - "who's that in our family?" they even answer the question, then I tell them where I got the pictures and then they pound me.

One of the pictures in the box has the same push toy the girl is sitting on.

Has anyone seen these old pics? I think they are pretty cool!
