In the comic they find a Cord in a lake. Here is a lake recovery that happened in 2000 after it was in a lake for 56 years, and it had no rust and was able to run! You never know where the missing Duesenbergs may be!

I was cleaning out boxes and found this Hot Wheels comic book from my mis-spent youth. Now if I only still had the supercharged Hot Wheels Cord I bought the same day! I understand they are now selling for up to $300. I seem to remember getting it on sale at K-Mart for .69!
