1930 CORD L-29 Victoria

In 1930, the Auburn Automobile Company shipped four Cord L-29?s to tour the European motor shows. This sedan is believed to be one of the four. While in Germany it was rebodied by Voll & Ruhrbeck of Berlin.
In 1940, the car was exported to Argentina where it survived in relative obscurity for almost 40 years.
In 1979, the car was brought to the US by ACD Member Ken O?Connor. The initial restoration began in the 1980?s. The current owner, Jim Fasnacht of Texas began a total restoration in 2004. After 14 months of concentrated effort, the car debuted in Auburn at the 2005 Reunion where it rightfully won Best of Show.
