and make sure it can't drop on the bumber and brackets too !
i usualy put some flexible sealer-paste (Which keep flexible with the years) on the lense when putting back together to prevent next time that i drop a lense ( it holds the lense to the bezel ). <!-- s:wink: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt="" title="Wink" /><!-- s:wink: -->

The more i know, the more i realize that i don't know enough.

Murray: You described perfectly how to do the job. Best thing to do would be to spread couch cushions, pillows, blankets foam rubber, etc. below your work area, just in case you drop the lens.

I have a restored 1935 851 sedan . The filament in one headlight burned out. I have a new bulb to replace it but am apprehensive about tackling the job as I certainly don't want to break the headlight lens. Does anyone have any tips on how to do this ? I know that you have to loosen the screw in the bottom and shove in on the lens. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!
