Think the Club should purchase this for their archives if possible.

HI JEG

I should have mentioned the price. Here is a copy of the email I received.

Hello, I came across your website pertaining to duesenberg cord auburn. I have an antique store in Baltimore MD. I have a photo scrap book of the DCA club's meet in Avon Penn. in the mid 1950's. There are great photos of the winners, 2nd and 3rd place. Each photo has the name and year of the car. My question is would this item be of interest to you. The price is $350 for over 100 photos. Here are some images and I would be glad to send more if you are interested.

Take care and best regards

I received an interesting email the other day from an Antique Shop offering to sell a Photo Album that seems to have belonged to ACD Member William F. Sakers. The Album has over 100 photo's from the 1956 Avon, Pa. meet. I believe that was our Clubs 1st meet. If not I am sure someone will set the record straight. Each photo is suppose to have the cars description and the owners name with it.

The pictures that were sent to me were great. There is a lot of membership and club history in that album. I think that the club should purchase this album. It should really be displayed in the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum. The photo's could be duplicated and sold... there are a lot of possibilities here.

View a sampling of this album on my website.

If we can arrange to purchase it I would love to see it in Auburn this year at our meet. Old pictures of ACD Cars while eating Pulled Pork BBQ in the Museum sounds awfully good to me.

I would like to make a cyber motion for the Club to consider buying it. Do I have a Second?

See you in Auburn! (hopefully with the album)
