Future of Indy Speedway Museum

I went a few years ago on my way to the Newport Hillclimb. Well worth a visit. Sure hope the report about it's closing isn't true.

Two years ago I tried to visit on the way back from Auburn. We made the mistake of going on a race day and couldn't even get close.

So instead I decided to visit the corner of Washington & Harding.

Also one L-29 Cord Cab. but not the one used as the pace car.
Last time I was there it was in the basement and not on display.
Neat stuff in the basement. Over in the darkest corner of the basement was a Bugatti Type 35.

I've been hearing rumors that the museum is closing. Any confirmed reports? Their website and a Google search are both silent on the issue.

The museum is home to three Duesenbergs, including Augie Duesenberg's personal Model A.
