Free Donut? I never miss a free donut. I must say that in seven years of coming to Auburn, I have never set foot in that little hut. I was never sure what was in there.

Now that I know that free donuts are in there .... <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt=":lol:" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: -->

The Flea market was restarted under my watch in 1984 and has been at the muesum since. This is a very important event for our cluib members who travel to Auburn just for that. So please keep us tuned into any changes. The membership needs to know for planning reasons. Lets put a table with coffee and donuts out there as a jesture of good will what could that cost. Great PR ! ACD CLUB!

Thanks Murray, now I know. I hope we can do something different next year. The use of the parking lot on Friday is really nice.

Some food for thought...

I certainly appreciate the Museums working with us, but if we do only get to use half of the lot again next year, what if it was sliced in half "Parallel" with Wayne Street. Place the ACD car parking on the Wayne street side and you would have a nice path from the ACD museum to the Pre-Certification Check area lined with ACD Cars and People along Wayne Street. This makes for some pretty hard to beat press for the Museum and passing traffic.

I miss the lot... :cry:

As I understand it, the museum had concerns that there were no parking places for visitors to the museum so this year, the club agreed to give up part of the parking lot.

Question... How come we only were using half of the ACD Museum's parking lot on Friday at this years reunion? Will we be using all of it again next year? We have used it all in the past. It makes for a great gathering spot on Friday for cars and members. It is a great spot to take pictures of all of the ACD cars entering and leaving throughout the day. Ford 500's and Plymouth Neon's do not photogragh all that well... at least not in the ACD Museum parking lot.

Also, maybe I just missed it, but was the ACD Hospitality Center open with Coffee and Donuts in the morning? I hardly ever miss a Free Donut...
