Now I know why I didn't win best of show at Pebble. The Jordan was parked beside me! I wish I had known more about it when I was looking at it. Ric.

The Jordan Register's historian is a good friend. I've considered joining but haven't got around to it. Beautiful cars.

Chris !!!

Trade a Duesenberg for a Jordan?

I think Fred and Augie just turned over in their graves !!

Oh, I guess its easier to keep track of one Jordan than it is a few hundred Model J's.

Just kidding (well mostly)

And a really beautiful one! One of the few I'd even consider trading a Duesenberg for, actually.

The Jordan Speedway Ace is all over the internet.

www.oldcarsweekly.com/article/Jo ... edway_Ace/

Here is a link to the Old Cars Weekly article. I will say having seen it in person, that its a very large automobile.

Hi! The Jordan was one of the cars that beat me out, I believe. I am pretty sure I took a picture of it, but we haven't unpacked everything yet. I'll look for a picture. I drove a total of 7000 miles! Ric.

Yes, This is Ric.

From what I understand, Ric was planning on driving his freshly restored car all the way from Ontario. After Pebble, he is planning to drive back across the country to Auburn.

I'd say that is quite an accomplishment !

CORDially, Mike

I would much rather tour with my money, than go to a car show. Was told a few years ago to apply and was told be people who had taken cars it would cost a min, of $5,000.00. I can go to a lot of tours for 5K. That was before the gas price jump. Probably more like 10K now.

I know Ric Simpson is attending. What other Club members and/or their cars will be in attendance?

My man on the ground will be there, beaming me photos live from the 18th green via BlackBerry. Nice way to begin the school year back at college: new photos of freshly-restored Duesenbergs!
