Mike,

Can't join the caravan--unless you can invent an excuse to get me out of college--but good luck, happy trails, and I look forward to hearing about the journey in a future newsletter.

The 2009 Texas meet is generally held in April. This year, the Waken Boys are hosting the event, so there is a good chance that the meet will be held in Northern Texas ... (Oklahoma)

I will contact Brad to see what his thoughts are. He doesn''t seem to log onto this website much anymore.

I know you have a speed issue Jim. But since you are not going I won't have to bring a tow strap.

Hi Bill, Do you know if there is a date or location for next years Texas Meet. It would be nice if we could incorporate it into the trip somehow.
CORDially Mike

Since you did not specifically mention MODIFIED, I guess my Cabriolet would be OK?

You can't get to California without going through part of Texas and that is my stomping ground.

To commemorate the 80th anniversary of the introduction of the L29 Cord,we are searching for a few good touring buddies to travel across the country with us next year...2009. We are planning to travel from Auburn, IN to California and back using our ACD car . The route is still being tweaked. We are planning to travel beginning the middle of April through the middle of May. We would travel approximately 200 miles per day at about 50 miles per hour using secondary paved roads. If you think you might be interested in touring with your original ACD car,(a segment or the whole trip) give me a call or email.
