I hate having my picture taken (unless it's inside a Duesenberg) so I made a caricature of myself using WeeWorld:

You have to shrink it quite a bit to use it as your avatar.

(It's amazing the kind of things you learn about working with 7th graders.)

At the passport office I overheard a client complaining on how his photo turned out and how he demanded another photo taken, to which they obliged.

The photo looked exactly like the previous one, a jailhouse mugshot.

The exasperated clerk then responded with the statement as he returned the photo, "If you want a prettier picture next time, next time bring a prettier face."

I like it when our members use their real names as login names and I like it when they use photos of themselves as Avatars.

During the year, as we exchange messages, it is almost like we are in constant contact when we see the photo pop up next to the message.

New Members will recognize all of us on Ninth Street and they will feel part of the gang immediately.

Already I see Jim O'Brien trying to clean up his image. Good work Jim. We have a lot of dirt on you too, so I am glad we can keep that stuff under wraps!

Looking forward to seeing you guys in Auburn this year. (And no posting images that are 20 years old. Leave those images for the dating services!)

By the way, we all have our dark side ...

There is only so much that modern technology can do to fix you guys up ... We work with what we have. We have much worse on file for you ....

You can always change it at any time by clicking on PROFILE at the top of the website. Then upload a new picture of your choosing. It can be a maximum of 120 pixels wide by 200 pixels tall.

Joel, as one of the longtime members and most recognizable people in the Club, we felt the new members would enjoy seeing who they were up against during the Certification process.
