Why is it so many people on the forum choose anonymity. A introduction usually includes a last name.

ACD Club Gathering Spots was created by DJT
ACD Club is more than just the Auburns, Cords and Duesenbergs, it?s also about the members and visitors that enjoy these cars and the friendships that are made from the gathering spots.

Not sure, but I believe that there are other things talked about than just ACD cars at these gathering spots. We talk about anything and everything from morning to the next morning?. heard a few of you never sleep?

So, isn?t the ACD Club website just another gathering spot? Granted aren?t the main topics about these beautiful cars we all enjoy, but now and then another topic gets posted that are ?off the wall? ? ?for the younger generation?; like a Salmon Dish or Korean Miso Soup (which being 36, I?m not consider young anymore by the younger members here <!-- s:cry: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_cry.gif" alt="" title="Crying or Very sad" /><!-- s:cry: --> ).

Granted the main reason why the forums are here are to share ACD Stories and Restoration Tips?. But like the gathering spots outside the Auburn Hotel when members share stories other than that of their Auburn, Cord or Duesenberg; aren?t the forums in the sense the same?.. a gathering spot where members can talk ACD and share their daily lives with one another to grow friendships. And such in life, if the story isn?t your style you can walk away or not click and read.

So why should I let one or two bad experiences on the forum keep me from bonding with the members that I?ve grown in friendship with? I have the option of NOT clicking on those members that I wish not to read topics from, but yet can still converse with those that are my friends.
