I think most states in Australia have deemed that any car over 25 years old doesn't require conversion to RHD. Having said that, it does make life a bit easier... but as for adding / subtracting from value, in a car of this age I don't think it would make too much difference out here.

At an Australian auction I would think it would command a premium. Maybe I'm wrong.

Maybe it failed to sell because the owner thought it was worth more than the market will bare. $70,000 to $100,000 is a little much for this car especially since it was a older restoration with paint blistering. <!-- s:oops: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_redface.gif" alt="" title="Embarassed" /><!-- s:oops: -->

I wouldn't call it ugly... but I don't see me driving a vehicle with "dusty pink" interior. Although if someone were to give it to me, I may drive it.

So, when is it being delivered to Laotto, Indiana? Can I have a ride?

Beautiful example of this Big 8 Auburn. Another early Auburn for Ray Parker's collection. Especially with those rare Artillery Wheels.

Mercy that's ugly...interesting, and rare, and as an ACD car deserving of loving ownership...but ugly.

It's not quite Scottsdale territory, but I thought some members might be interested in this upcoming auction...
