Thanks Bill!

Well, I found the answer. It uses a Wix 51125, available at any good parts store for about $10. :D

Replied by Bob Roller on topic Oil filters for "J"
Joel,
I would call Jim Schneck and ask him what he uses in SJ525,his Brunn Convertible sedan. Back in the days when we had several "J"'s sitting around waiting for work,we did go to NAPA or Auto-Electric or better yet,Huntington Forge and Machine Shop and filters were readily available.
Jim Schneck's Ph# is1-920-684-0260. He is also the man that is reproducing cylinder heads for the "J" and I get tired just thinking about the work he put into that project. Even though I will never need his product,my hat is off to him.

I have heard that a certain NAPA oil filter cartridge will work in a model J, but don't have a part#. The guy behind the counter punched Duesenberg into the computer and it said to look in the book. But the book doesen't mention Dueseys.
This is the one where the outer housing is about 4" outside diameter X 7" long on the sides.(not including the tapered end)
Can anyone help with a part # or a source for a filter?
Thanks, Joel
