I was told that not only are the shells different, but so are the hoods. At least I think I was told that. A lot of time has passed since.

The cars with a winterfront grill that opens and closes by thermostatic control,at least all I have worked on have a flat core radiator. The other is a Winchester "V" core which I like the looks of especially if they have a good looking stone guard over it and the headlights.

What is the difference between the radiator shell that has the vee core compared to the type with the shutters? Are they the same? Is the radiator set slightly back to fit the shutter? Different shaped cores? Thanks XJN001 <!-- s:?: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_question.gif" alt=":" title="Question" /><!-- s:?: -->
