My friend Jim likes to tell the story of buying a "barn find" 1923 Jordan and parking it in his garage, where his modern car usually sat. His very young grandson came to visit, walked into the garage, and asked, "Grandpa, what happened to your car? Did it rust?"
The "kit" was assembled by the late Rene Chenier of Pacifica, CA. I assume it's been sold from his estate or has been sold to someone who is selling it.

Did you look at the Picasa photo album? [url:1pygnm1a]http://picasaweb.google.com/robert.goodman55/Duesey2#[/url:1pygnm1a]
I'm assuming the URL means the owner is or was someone named Robert Goodman. I showed my wife the photos before I told her it was a Duesenberg and she said I ought to buy it because it looks like every other old car I ever brought home I'm hurt!
All kidding side, how many people outside of Ema et al ever get the opportunity to assemble a "Duesenberg in kit form!" SIGH ME UP! I'm there any place any time...

I wonder if this is the one that was in the NATMUS basement for a number of years?
