I had the opportunity to visit with Louis and his wife June at the Cabin Fever expo this past Saturday. Louis is on his 8th year working on this model. As you can see the body is in primer and is well on it way to being done.

Louis is working on getting the car running. He says it's turning over but just doesn't want to start (I think we've all had that problem). When he gets it running he wants to bring it back to Auburn for all the Club to see. Hopefully it will be this year!!!

Mr. Chenot and his Duesenberg are the featured model at the Cabin Fever Expo ( www.cabinfeverexpo.com/featuredmodel.html ) show Jan. 17 and 18 in York PA. From the photo on their web site it looks like the body is almost complete.

My daughter and I are planning attending this year so I'll try and get some good photos of the car. If anyone else is planning on going to the Cabin Fever Expo let me know and maybe we can meet up down there.

Josh, Thanks for the information . I remembered the news letter article but I didn"t remember that he was a member . If I were to judge that wounderful work , I certainlly would not take 100 points off because someone considered it was New Coachwork . 31631F Henry

Yes he is. His name is Louis Chenot, and he lives in Missouri. There was a full-color spread on this creation in Newsletter 2006-10 before he began work on the body.

He had the chassis as you see it here at the ACD reunion a couple of years ago. It was truly amazing. It looks like he's getting much closer to a finished automobile now.
