I think Gus Reuter is long gone, although I seem to remember that a descendant is still doing restorations somewhere.

The people at Ida Automotive, builders of Tucker replicas, built a replica of J-585 not long ago, using very similar colors. You could try contacting them.

Thanks a lot for info....do you have any contact details/location/ for Gus and or Ida Automotive as neither are known to me.
