A.J.
I judged Duesenberg interiors at Auburn this year, but only 2 were judged.
The marmon Meteor and the Model X Boattail.
I agree with your comments.
Hope the man with the complete dash calls me.
I would ask your dad to price and comment on availability to me of each kind.
thanks Bernie

My dad has reproduction Chronographs. He has two kinds. One that functions exactly as original - i.e. the second counter will snap back to zero and the wheel will rotate back to zero. He has a cheaper one that the wheel does not snap back on but is visually identical to original.
Last time I was at Auburn, a good number of Duesenbergs had either broken or faulty reproduction Chronographs. If the judges every started checking the chronographs my dad would be be selling them like hot-cakes. However, he only has a few as they cost a fortune to make.

ps, there is a member here with a beautiful complete dash sitting on his office desk - I'm not spilling the beans who it is - I'll let him PM you if he wants.

slim to none on the chronograph. The others, maybe. Gonna deplete a fair sized savings account.
