Replied by Bill Hummel on topic Amelia Earhart's Cord Phaeton
I am glad you asked!

Ray Foster owns her Phaeton. You can see her Phaeton if you come to the ACD Texas Meet in Dallas, on April 1 & 2.

Ray actually has to bring two cars! The engine is in his second Phaeton. Don't ask me why, it is much too complicated for me.

We are trying to put on a first-class event that will let the public re-connect with these historically significant cars.

Have been reading Lost Star; The Search for Amelia Earhart by Randall Brink, wondering if the wherabouts of her Cord has ever been established because she owned it when living in Rye, N.Y., which is 5 miles from where our car turned up used in Larchmont during 1937 when it was still barely broken in; She disappeared in July 1937.

Probably easier to find than her Lockheed Electra. <!-- s:?: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_question.gif" alt=":?:" title="Question" /><!-- s:?: -->
