Dave... Sadly I feel we are having website issues. I can not post pics any longer either and have asked for webmaster help. so far no help in determining what might be wrong. Usually I feel its whats wrong with me or how I'm attempting to post pics.
I too an wondering about the 2 or 3 or 5 rib plugs. I know of the 2 rib and the 5 rib but have never seen a 3 rib. I have some very used 2 and 5 rib in the blue box. I'm also been told just get a cad plated H10 plug and use gun blue on the body to make it look correct. Sounds easy enough to do so I will be purchasing some cad plated H10 plugs later.

I attempted to post a picture of H10 2 rib plugs but got an "error" notice. What is the trick to post a picture? I tried via "attachments" but it wouldn't go....

What is a "3 rib" H10? I count only two. The 2 rib, or "coke bottle" plug as it is often referred to was the design until circa 1947, after which the "5 rib" black base plug presumably took over. So, I cannot understand how a 5 rib H10 could be a correct Cord plug since it came on the scene a decade after Cod production. Correct me if I am wrong.

Hello:

The correct plugs for all 810-812 cars is of course the Champion H-10. The plug has a black base, white insulator with red lettering and a silver metal tip. The new H-10, like so many others, have a bright silver metallic plating and as such are not correct. There are two early H-10 plug designs one with three rib and the other with five ribs. At this point, we do not draw the distinction between of the difference in number of ribs. For current show standards, all Champion black based plugs with red letters on a white insulator will deemed to be correct.

Mark

Well these plugs were sold.... For $760.00...... <!-- s:shock: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_eek.gif" alt="" title="Shocked" /><!-- s:shock: --> I did not bid on them either. Someone sure wanted them to pay nearly $100.00 each.... I sure can think of other ways to spend that money. A set of Autolite 216 plugs work just fine per Josh Malks... Who would know better than him.
