Cam Bearings

I see 2 different types of cam bearings. One needs a babbit and another does not need babbiting. Is one better than the other? Is there any other cam bearings we can use from other car engines. We have 5 bearings and they appear to all be different sizes. Other than ease of installation I see no other reason for the different sizes. Stan sells both types of cam bearings too.
