<!-- s:cry: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_cry.gif" alt="" title="Crying or Very sad" /><!-- s:cry: --> So I'm taking apart my water pump belt tensioner and what a mess it is. Looks like its been egg shaped because of the tightening on the 2 bolts that holds the sliding ring in place to maintain tension on the belt. Not a very good idea in real life but probably looked great and cheap on paper. Nayway its apart but trying to make it fit smoothly and operate like design is ruff. Is there any tricks to making this work smoothly? Till then I will be "working on it". I sure will use some anti sieze on it when its finished. I realize it will be Cad plated. What about the steel hubs the fan and this bolts too? Are they Cad plated too.
