Well, you could have asked Frank Lockhart all about the aerodynamics - if he had lived to be able to tell you. I attached footage of the Stutz accident (actually there are quite a few videos on YouTube regarding Stutz accident) and there is also a reference to such in the Tucker movie (aka why the fenders on a Tucker do not turn with the wheels as in original concept).

At high speeds the movable fenders would be a bit of a worry, wouldn't they?

Hi,

This car has been kicking around the circuit for several years. It has the rather neat feature that the front fenders steer with the front wheels.

Nice to look at for a few minutes--it has great craftsmanship--but I prefer my unfinished project car. To each his own.

Sorry to disagree with the sellers discription but I'm really a purist when it comes to the Cord. I can apreciate the work and money that went into this but I prefer the original works car. My feelings are if it came out of the "junk yard" missing the original drive train then fine. But thats me.
