Hey Mark, If I am not mistaking there is a complete set of restoration guidelines on this site for 810 - 812 That should answer the marked bolt question.

The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

Not heard of this but I do know my engine bolts do have a "W" on them. I will be watching for answers to this question. Learning all I can is keeping me going.

I'm new to the 812 Cord: Can someone tell me if the bolts used on these cars were marked the same as Auburn bolts? For example: Fender bolts were marked with 'N' on the head, 'W' bolts on the engine, etc.
