Gents,

Thanks for your replies.

Josh's book was my first port of call. No numbers are recorded for my car.

I'll get in touch with Ron - sounds like a great lead.

Thanks again.

I also recommend contacting Ron Irwin. He can probably assign a Central number to your car that won't be a duplicate from another car. Ron does not have email; you will have to call him.
CORDially, Tim.

The above posting sounds like the best way to go about this. Also might contact Ron Irwin. He is the hostorian and has every known Cord number on paper. I can tell you what my numbers are and these are for sure what came on the car. My car is 1748S and the central manufacruring number is
C96 135
These are original plates I removed from the car and kep them in my office near the computer.

Hi,

Do you have one of Josh Malks' books with known numbers?

I recently purchased a blank Central Manufacturing Co. plate for my Westchester - quite the score me thinks. It'll go on my 812 Westchester.

Regrettably, the data for my Cord is unrecorded. I know it would begin with C90, but the rest I'm not sure about. What would be a possible solution? Should I make up a number based around other C90 Westchesters close to my 812? Trouble is, there doesn't seem to be any discernible order to the body numbers.

Any ideas?
