What Paint Color

I find this question odd that nobody can answer it but.. I did plenty of looking and found out the inside of the fenders are painted the body color. then undercoated. Seems like such a watse. I may or may not do this. The rear undercoating on the inside bosy panel of the fenders is in great shape. So is the undercarraige. May just wire brush it like Henry Portz suggested many years ago. If it looks bad I can top it and still keep the textured look of the factory applied undercoating....

What color is the inside of all the fenders supposed to be? I have seen black or the car color too. I'm thinking they were the car color and then undercoat sprayed on them for protection and sound proofing. Thanks for any information.
